My favourite acne treatment products

I have oily  skin and my skin is prone to acne and very sensitive. I have tried many acne treatement products like benzoyl peroxide 2.5, benzoyl perovide 5, oxy5 , oxy 10, erytop  cream , indian home treatment like mint leaves extract with a spoon of yogurt and apply it as the face mask, Neam face pack, lactocalamine lotion etc etc and the best worked on me are these two products.

MARIO BADESCO acne drying lotion my husband’s sister in law from the US recommended this product to me and it worked like a magic and the  product is about  $ 17 and in Singapore it is about S$60-70 at Sephora. Too expensive but i was ready to pay the price for the magic it worked.

The PROS small bottle and dont shake the contents just use the q tip to take the pink part of the product and apply it or dab it on the area affected . Leave it overnight and in 2 to 3 days the pimple is gone.

Cons: after some days the clear liquid will get over fast and have left with only  the pink portion and they get dried up like a cake and i need to use either some rose water or toner. But it doesn’t work that well as it used to be.This happened because the Cotton Swabs/Buds .Cotton absorb all the clear liquid which i think is the salicylic acid .

When i was in jakarta last june, i found this amazing product at one of the  pharmacy isle. It is NEW ACNOL lotion for Acne.I got the 10 ml pack. It is just as good as the Mario Badesco product but the best part is way cheaper than the other.I dont remember the price for this product.

It is the same clear liquid and pink portion and most of the ingredients are same here is the comparison

MARIO BADESCO drying lotion Ingredients:INGREDIENTS: Isopropyl Alcohol,Deionized Water (Aqua), Calamine, Camphor, Colloidal Sulfur, Salicylic Acid,Glycerine, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Talc lotion

ACNOL Lotion for acne Ingredients:Alcohol,aqua,sulfur,talc,zinc oxide,Silica,Salicylic acid,Niacinamide,Fragrance,camphor, d-panthenol,allantoin,menthol, triclosan,hexamidine diisethonate,spphora angustifolia root extract.

Most of the ingredients are the same and acnol is made in indonesia and it is cheap. Salicylic acid is a wonderful acne treatment and camphor i love the smell it is a drying agent. The alcohol make the pimple shrink fast and salicylic acid kills the bacteria that cause the acne.

directions to use acnol:

wash face and dab the face with towel. shake acnol lotion before use , apply a little acnol lotion with finger tip to affected parts only.Do not rub in.Use once or Twice a day for three days. If necessery this treatment should be prolonged.
